The Prodigal Blogger Returns!

Has it really been 18 months since I last wrote a review??

After a very chaotic and, quite honestly, miserable year, I finally have some time to start writing again. I really thought I had given up my blog, but after reading a few of my old reviews, I thought...hey, that girl wasn't a horrible writer. The reviews were pretty spot on (most of the time) and I'm a little obsessed with the cute gifs I used in my reviews.

I've genuinely missed writing. I guess all of those episodes of Awkward., Sex and the City, and The Carrie Diaries really seeped into my younger, developing brain. I have too many thoughts and my Gen-Z brain is convinced that the world needs to hear them!! (This is why older generations hate us.)

Despite my absence, I have been consistently reading so I have plenty of reviews I could go ahead and write but...

I have to thank the one and only Suzanne Collins for practically shocking my body with lightning bolts straight from the Hunger Games' arena and reviving this part of my brain with her new masterpiece. Obviously a review will come, but for now let me just say, Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the best books I have maybe ever read. I am so excited to write a thorough review.

I'm also thinking about posting some of my old "practice articles" that I wrote my senior year of college. You know, you're typical Screen Rant/Buzzfeed articles that say things like: "The One CRAZY Thing The Exorcist and Rocky Have in Common" (I could actually write that article, btw).

I know that no one reads this blog...but maybe one day I'll just happen to find myself in middle of a Jenna Hamilton debacle where everyone I know is suddenly reading the blog I've put years of effort into for no reason.

...except my blogs are far less personally incriminating

...and therefore, less interesting
